The ACCC has revoked the interim authorisation dated 26 March 2020 authorising Coles, Woolworths, Metcash, ALDI and other approved retailers to cooperate in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ACCC has replaced it with a narrower interim authorisation that limits authorisation to conduct related to the Department of Home Affairs’ Supermarkets Taskforce and its working groups, and the National Indigenous Australians Agency’s COVID-19 working groups.
