This publication stemmed from a round table of representatives from the small and large business sectors, the ACCC and the alternative dispute resolution sector.

The group focused on making the business case for

• embedding dispute avoidance practices in everyday operations,
• using alternative dispute resolution processes when disputes arise
• developing benchmarks for both dispute avoidance and dispute resolution.
