Description of Conduct
Agsafe Limited lodged an application for authorisation in relation to an accreditation scheme which requires persons and premises involved in the transport, handling and storage of agricultural and veterinary chemicals which are hazardous substances, to be accredited, a Code of Conduct which outlines the requirements for compliance with the accreditation programs and the ability to apply trading sanctions to premises which fail to meet accreditation standards.
The Commission granted authorisation on 22 May 2002, to Agsafe's Accreditation scheme, Code of Conduct and for it to apply trading sanctions to non compliant firms. Authorisation was for 5 years subject to a number of conditions.
