Australian Constructors Association on behalf of itself and Participating Constructors

On 9 April 2020, the Australian Constructors Association (ACA) lodged an application for authorisation on behalf of itself, its members and any other construction or building industry entity wishing to engage in the conduct (the Participating Constructors). The Participating Constructors sought authorisation to share information and have discussions, and where required, enter into and give effect to, any arrangement between them or engage in any conduct, for the purpose of responding to a Government request:

1. for information, advice and assistance, to allow the Government to set policies and make decisions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic; or
2. to expeditiously comply with a Government directive or implement a Government decision in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On 23 April 2020, the ACA withdrew its application.
