Description of Conduct
On 8 April 2005 the Australian Dairy Farmers (ADF) lodged an application for revocation of authorisation A90782 and replacement by substitute authorisation A90966.
The applications relate to the collective bargaining arrangements authorised by the Australian Competition Tribunal in August 2002. The ADF application sought an extension of the immunity granted to these arrangements for an additional 5 years.
On 26 April 2006 the ACCC released a final determination granting conditional authorisation to the ADF arrangements until 30 June 2011 allowing dairy farmers to continue to collectively bargain with dairy processors.
