Description of Conduct
The Clay Brick & Paver Association of NSW lodged an application for authorisation in relation to imposing a levy of $1.00 per thousand bricks sold to members and payable by bricker purchasers and consumers. This levy, with another levy of $1 per thousand bricks as contribution from members to be used to subsidise the employment of apprentice bricklayers.
The Commission granted authorisation to A90676 on 11 May 1999 for 3 years.
