Description of Conduct
HCF sought authorisation for a period of ten years to allow it to open its own dental clinics in locations that may overlap with dentists who participate in HCF's More For Teeth program. Under the More For Teeth program, HCF specifies the maximum fees for a number of dental services to be charged by participating dentists.
On 5 March 2018 the ACCC issued a draft determination proposing to grant authorisation for 10 years.
On 10 April 2018, the ACCC held a pre-decision conference on the draft determination.
On 11 May 2018, the ACCC released its determination granting authorisation for 5 years.
