Description of Conduct
The applications seek the revocation of an existing authorisation in relation to the 3rd edition of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and its replacement by a new authorisation in relation to the 14th edition of the Code of Conduct. Medicines Australia was previously known as the Australian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (APMA).
The Commission granted authorisation to the 14th edition of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, subject to three conditions designed to increase the transparency and efficacy of the Code.
