Description of Conduct
The Victorian councils of Alpine Shire, Benalla Rural, Indigo Shire, Mansfield Shire, Towong Shire, Rural City of Wangaratta, the City of Wodonga, and the Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Mt Buller Mt Stirling Alpine Resort Managements (the Constituted Councils) propose to jointly procure waste and resource recovery and processing services. North East Waste and Resource Recovery Group & Ors (NEWRRG), a Victorian statutory body corporate whose role is to coordinate joint procurements of this kind, proposes to act on the Constituted Councils' behalf and conduct collaborative competitive tender processes for services, and participate in the ongoing administration of the relevant supply contracts.
On 2 February 2017 the ACCC issued a final determination granting authorisation until 24 February 2028.
