Description of Conduct
A group of rail operators in New South Wales - namely, Genesee & Wyoming Australia, Linx Rail, Qube, Manildra Group, Pacific National, Southern Shorthaul Railroad, Sydney Rail Services, SCT Logistics and Aurizon (the Applicants) seek authorisation to collectively negotiate with Transport for NSW in relation to the non-price terms and conditions on which they acquire below rail access to parts of Transport for NSW's Sydney Metropolitan Passenger Network and Country Regional Network.
On 21 September 2018, the ACCC issued a determination granting authorisation to the arrangements until 13 October 2023.
