Perkins Properties Pty Ltd and Perkins Shipping Pty Ltd (together 'Perkins') have applied for authorisation to give effect to an agreement with Alcan Gove Pty Ltd and Alcan Gove Development Pty Ltd (together 'Alcan') under which it will manage a new heavy lift wharf at the Port of Gove and provide Alcan with priority access to the wharf (A90951). Perkins, for and on behalf of Alcan, has also applied for authorisation for conduct whereby Alcan will acquire wharf management services from Perkins on condition that Perkins will provide Alcan with priority access to the new heavy lift wharf (A90953).
The ACCC grants authorisation to applications A90951 and A90953 until 30 June 2008.
