Description of Conduct
The Queensland Newsagents Federation (QNF), on behalf of its members, proposes to collectively bargain with the Golden Casket Lotteries Corporation (Golden Casket), in relation to the distribution services relating to lottery and instant lottery products that QNF members provide to Golden Casket.
On 28 February 2013 the ACCC granted interim authorisation to the QNF's proposed collective bargaining arrangements, with a number of matters excluded from the grant of interim authorisation.
On 29 May 2013 the ACCC issued a draft determination proposing to grant authorisation in respect of the proposed arrangements for five years.
On 11 July 2013 the ACCC issued a final determination granting authorisation for a period of five years.
