Description of Conduct
Refrigerant Reclaim Australia Limited (RRA) lodged an application for re-authorisation to allow it to continue to operate a product stewardship scheme to recover ozone depleting and synthetic greenhouse gas refrigerants to be destroyed, stored, or reclaimed and sold. RRA sought re-authorisation to apply and agree to the terms of an industry agreed levy. RRA sought re-authorisation for a further five years.
On 6 May 2016 the ACCC issued a final determination granting re-authorisation, for five years, subject to conditions that RRA continue to publish certain information about the scheme's effectiveness on its website. A copy of the determination is available by following the links below.
