Description of Conduct
The Shopping Centre Council of Australia Limited (SCCA) has lodged applications for authorisation concerning the Casual Mall Licensing Code of Practice, and in particular clause 6 which provides that a lessor must not grant a casual mall licence that results in the unreasonable introduction of a competitor of an adjacent lessee.
On 29 August 2007 the ACCC issued a final determination granting authorisation to the SCCA for five years.
