Summary
AFQ proposes to supply licensees with the right to use the Beds-R-Us trade mark licence, management and administration services, on the condition that the prospective licensee acquire Bedding Products from suppliers nominated by AFQ.
Bedding Products include beds, mattresses, bases, bedroom furniture and related products.
The proposed conduct has previously been considered by the ACCC in notification N50179, which was lodged by Beds 'R' Us Pty Ltd on 6 March 2006. AFQ has subsequently taken over ownership of the Beds-R-Us licensing arrangement from Beds 'R' Us Pty Ltd.
