Porsche Cars Australia Pty Ltd - Notification - N99133

Porsche Cars Australia Pty Ltd (Porsche) proposes to establish a network of ''Porsche Certified Body Repairers''. Selected bodywork repair and paint shops will be accredited as a Porsche Certified Body Repairer and will receive support services from Porsche on the following conditions:

i. The Porsche Certified Body Repairer must in connection with Bodywork Repairs use:
A. Porsche genuine or approved parts, components, materials, tools and accessories (excluding paint) acquired from Porsche Dealers; and
B. where appropriate, Technical Services provided by Porsche Dealers.

ii. The Porsche Certified Body Repairer must use Porsche approved paint products when doing body paint work on Porsche vehicles acquired from third party suppliers of approved paint products.

iii. After a Porsche Certified Body Repairer has completed Bodywork Repairs, the Porsche Certified Body Repairer must, in certain circumstances, acquire PIWIS services from a Porsche Dealer. PIWIS services involve attaching a vehicle to a PIWIS tester and checking for any mechanical faults and/or work that PAG (Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG) or Porsche recommends be carried-out on the vehicle.

iv. A Porsche Certified Body Repairer, as directed by Porsche from time to time, must acquire training services from a third party provider.
