Summary
The Western Australian Tourism Commission, trading as Tourism WA proposes to:
i. offer discounts on its fees charged to tourism providers for particular services on condition that the providers acquire accreditation of a Tourism Accreditation Australia Limited approved program (from 1 July 2007 to 30 July 2009).
ii. refuse to supply particular services to tourism providers unless the providers acquire accreditation status of a Tourism Accreditation Australia Limited program (from 1 July 2009).
Any business demonstrating a certification standard equivalent (or higher) to the minimum standard set by the Australian Tourism Accreditation Standard will be exempt from this policy.
