On 23 September 2021, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (the Act), to Beyond Bank Australia Ltd (Beyond Bank) deferring its reciprocal data sharing obligations for phase 2 products until 1 November 2021 and phase 3 products until 1 February 2022. The exemption is effective from the date Beyond Bank becomes accredited. The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from Beyond Bank.
