Summary
On 10 September 2020 the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Lysaght Credit Union (LCU), delaying its product reference data obligations until 1 July 2021. The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from LCU, and having regard to the proposed merger between LCU and Horizon Credit Union Limited.
