Exemption for Teachers Mutual Bank Limited

On 22 December 2020 the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Teachers Mutual Bank Limited (TMBL), deferring the commencement date of its Phase 2 product reference data obligations until 1 July 2021. TMBL’s brands include: Teachers Mutual Bank, UniBank, Firefighters Mutual Bank and Health Professionals Bank. The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from TMBL.
