Competition analysis

On 22 January 2008, the ACCC formed the view that the proposed acquisition was unlikely to substantially lessen competition in the relevant markets. This was due to the limited overlap in the operations of the merger parties in the NSW market for the manufacture of industrial bins, and the existence of alternative competitive providers which will remain available to customers in both the national markets for the manufacture and supply of mounted lifting equipment and stationary compactors.
