Undertaking
Mr Alan Tame is the promoter of FreeNet 2000, which is an internet service provider intertwined with a multi-level marketing scheme. Participants are rewarded financially for introducing new members to the scheme. AGS advised this in breach of ss. 57 and 61 of the TPA. Tame undertakes to cease promoting the scheme, notify participants that the scheme is no longer being offered, and offer subscribers refunds if they no longer want to use FreeNet 2000's internet service. Tame undertakes not to repeat the conduct in breach of the TPA.
