Mr. Emmanuel John Tischler - s.87B undertaking

The Commission considered that a number of internet schemes set up by Mr. Tischler involved pyramid selling, contrary to section 61 of the Trade Practices Act. In addition, the Commission considered that Mr. Tischlers express or implied representations to members of the public that the schemes were lawful, and would provide participants with large amounts of money, were misleading and deceptive or likely to mislead and deceive, contrary to section 52 of the Act. Mr Tischler accepts that his conduct breached the Act and offered to give an undertaking to that effect.
