The ACCC has released a survey to seek feedback from consumers, businesses and other stakeholders as part of its annual review of the ACCC’s Compliance and Enforcement Policy and Priorities.

The ACCC’s Compliance and Enforcement Policy sets out the ACCC’s priority areas for its compliance and enforcement activities, and lists the primary factors the ACCC will take into account when deciding to pursue issues or matters.

Feedback from businesses and consumers is invaluable when drafting this policy and past feedback has had a direct impact on our priority areas.

We are seeking your views on whether there are any ongoing concerns in relation to our current priority areas, and any new issues that might be resulting in consumer harm or competitive detriment. We are also seeking to understand your experiences with the COVID-19 pandemic, and how this has impacted consumers, businesses, and the competitive process.

We would appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your input to help us ensure that the ACCC’s resources are directed towards the areas of greatest harm in 2022.

The survey will be open until 3 November 2021.

The survey is available at: 2021 Strategic Review - external stakeholder survey

The ACCC’s current Compliance and Enforcement Policy is available at: Compliance & enforcement policy & priorities

The 2022 Compliance and Enforcement Policy will be released in early March 2022.
