The ACCC has revised and streamlined its processes, consistent with international best practice. Our processes revolve around two fundamental aims: clearing those mergers that are not anti-competitive as quickly as possible and imperatives and identifying, investigating and addressing mergers that do raise competition concerns. The Guidelines continue to evolve as the ACCC, business and its advisors learn from the experience and international best practice.
