The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has instituted criminal proceedings in the Federal Court, Melbourne against Dimmeys Stores Pty Ltd and Starite Distributors Pty Ltd for supplying pedal bicycles that allegedly did not comply with the mandatory standard for pedal bicycles.
