This is the ACCC's third report as part of its inquiry into the prices, profits and margins in the supply of electricity in the National Electricity Market.
This report includes an examination of the cost components of electricity bills for the 2018–19 financial year and how they are changing over time. This report also contains analysis of how pricing of electricity plans on offer has changed since reforms to retailer pricing and advertising came into effect on 1 July 2019.
