Australia Post has provided the ACCC with a draft price notification proposing to increase the price of reserved ordinary letters delivered at the regular timetable by 25%. This includes an increase of the basic postage rate for reserved ordinary small letters from $1.20 to $1.50.
On 25 September 2023, Australia Post provided an updated version of the draft notification, in which some previously redacted materials were unredacted.
In November 2023, Australia Post provided the ACCC with a revised draft price notification. A further corrected draft was provided in December 2023.

In November 2023, Australia Post provided the ACCC with a revised draft price notification which includes updated financial information and forecasts. The revised notification does not alter the size of the proposed stamp price increase.
In December 2023, Australia Post provided the ACCC with a further revised draft price notification, which corrected some errors in the post tax revenue model outputs.
