Port of Portland wheat port exemption assessment

The ACCC has determined Port of Portland Pty Limited to be an exempt service provider of port terminal services provided at its port terminal facility at Portland.

The exemption means that Port of Portland Pty Limited is not required to comply with Parts 3 to 6 of the Port Terminal Access (Bulk Wheat) Code of Conduct in the course of providing port terminal services via its Portland facility.

The determination was made by notifiable instrument and registered on the Federal Register of Legislation. The instrument and Port of Portland Pty Limited's exemption commenced on 3 May 2022 and is available on the Federal Register of Legislation.
