September 2018 variation of the 2011 Hunter Valley Access Undertaking

On 29 November 2018, the ACCC consented to ARTC's application to vary the 2011 Hunter Valley Access Undertaking. The variation introduces:

• path based pricing
• an incremental cost methodology, including: 
  • a change to allocating Incremental Capital Costs on the basis of contracted capacity
  • a new process for allocating capital costs as either Fixed and/or Incremental Capital Costs at Rail Capacity Group meetings.
