In June 2016, the ACCC indicated that the market study would examine whether industry practices are consistent with what we would expect from a competitive market. In particular, practices relating to:

  • consumer guarantees and new cars;
  • access to repair and service information and data and post-sale service arrangements; and
  • fuel consumption, emissions and car performance.
