On 1 April 2003, Airservices Australia a draft notification to the ACCC proposing temporary increases to the prices of uncapped terminal navigation services as well as aviation rescue and firefighting services.
The ACCC released its final decision on 26 June 2003 was:
- to object to Airservices’ proposal to temporarily increase charges for terminal navigation and aviation fire-fighting and rescue services for 2003/04
- not to object to prices for these services remaining at current levels for a further twelve months; i.e. until 30 June 2004.
