On 14 April 2009, CBH lodged an Undertaking for assessment under section 44ZZA of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (known as the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA) from 1 January 2011).

The ACCC acknowledged receipt of the Undertaking on 17 April 2009.
Issues Paper for CBH Access Undertaking
The ACCC released an Issues Paper on 29 April 2009 regarding the Access Undertakings (the Undertakings) submitted by ABB Grain Ltd (ABB), Co-operative Bulk Handling Ltd (CBH) and GrainCorp Operations Ltd (GrainCorp), and the ACCC invited submissions on the Undertakings from interested parties.

Information requests
On 19 May 2009, the ACCC received an email from Co-operative Bulk Handling Ltd (CBH) attaching a copy of a draft proposal for the allocation of shipping capacity.
On 2 June 2009 the ACCC sent a request to CBH to provide further information to assist the ACCC in its assessment of the Undertaking submitted by CBH.
On 6 July 2009 CBH responded to the ACCC's request with a further submission.
