Request for advice - 3.4 GHz and 3.7 GHz spectrum allocation2 Mar 2022
On 14 December 2021, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) wrote to the ACCC requesting advice on allocation limits for the allocation of spectrum licences in the 3.4 GHz and 3.7 GHz bands. The ACMA requested that the ACCC provide its advice by 1 August 2022.
On 2 March 2022, the ACCC released a consultation paper seeking stakeholders' views on a range of issues relevant to the ACCC's consideration of the advice. Submissions to the consultation paper closed on 29 April 2022.
