Discussion paper14 Oct 2019

On 14 October 2019, the ACCC commenced a public inquiry into the prices that NBN Co charges access seekers to use the National Broadband Network (NBN) for supplying residential grade broadband services. The ACCC is considering whether regulatory intervention is necessary in respect of these access products, particularly basic speed access products.

The ACCC has released a discussion paper seeking feedback from interested stakeholders. The discussion paper outlines the key issues for the inquiry and seeks stakeholder views on these and other related issues.

The ACCC has also asked retail service providers (RSPs) to respond to the data request that accompanies the discussion paper.
