NBN wholesale service standards inquiry

On 4 November 2020, the ACCC published its final report to conclude the public inquiries into NBN entry level pricing and NBN wholesale service standards.

The final report includes findings regarding the changes to NBN access arrangements (which NBN Co has now included in its wholesale broadband agreement (WBA4)) that will promote the long-term interests of broadband consumers, and balance the competing business interests of NBN Co with those of NBN access seekers.

We consider the new access arrangements can be implemented under WBA4 to address the matters of concern that have arisen in both inquiries. We have therefore decided not to issue an access determination, but rather will closely monitor the implementation of the new access arrangements under WBA4.
