Discussion paper 30 Oct 2014
On 30 October 2014, the ACCC released a discussion paper regarding non-price terms and conditions for final access determinations for the:
- fixed line services and the wholesale ADSL service
- mobile terminating access service (MTAS)
- domestic transmission capacity service (DTCS).
Given these inquiries will cover a number of related issues regarding non-price terms and conditions, the ACCC considers there are benefits in conducting a combined consultation process on these issues for the above services.
The ACCC has previously released and consulted on a position paper.
Final access determination inquiries discussion paper
The discussion paper seeks further industry views regarding the regulatory option the ACCC should adopt when making non-price terms and conditions in final access determinations in order to provide effective regulatory fall-back to industry.
The ACCC invited submissions by 5 pm on 28 November 2014 but has extended this date.
Submissions are now due by 5 pm on 12 December 2014.
