On 30 June 2023, the ACCC released its 16th interim report as part of its inquiry into Australia’s gas supply arrangements.
The ACCC continues its focus on the operation of the East Coast Gas Market where there are immediate and longer-term concerns. This report provides an update on gas supply and demand into next year, and shows the contract prices negotiated by gas producers and retailers between September 2022 and February 2023.
